About OraMORE
Welcome to OraMORE, a place of restoration, empowerment, and new beginnings.
OraMORE is a nonprofit organization created to assist and empower women as they re-enter society after experiencing life-altering transitions that can cause them to lose themselves. We intentionally serve women navigating four critical re-entry tiers:re-entry from incarceration, substance abuse recovery, homelessness, and abuse/trauma.
These experiences often strip away identity, confidence, and hope. OraMORE exists
because we believe no woman should have to rebuild alone.
At OraMORE, we help women reclaim their sense of self: restoring self-love, self-worth,
self-confidence, and self-respect, while also providing tangible resources that support
stability and sustainability. Our programs are designed to not only inspire healing, but to
equip women with what they need to care for themselves, stand again, and move forward
with dignity.
OraMORE is the connecting place where healing meets help, and compassion meets
action. We connect women to community, resources, education, and support systems that
create real pathways toward independence and wholeness.

About Our Founder & President
Dr. Shavona L. Whitehead, affectionately known as Dr. Von and widely recognized as The MORE Pusher, is an ordained preacher, certified life and empowerment coach, and a trained spiritual chaplain through Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is a visionary leader with a heart for healing, restoration, and the total well-being of women.
As The MORE Pusher, Dr. Von creates transformative rooms and experiences where women are invited into wholistic healing spaces that ignite restoration, awaken purpose, and cultivate true wholeness. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing must address the whole woman: spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally.
Dr. Whitehead is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Shavona Whitehead, LLC and The MORE Experience, established in 2020. The MORE Experience is built upon the MORE model: Motivated Overcomers Being Restored and Empowered. Through this model, Dr. Von helps individuals break free from boxes of traumatic chaos and boldly show up as their authentic selves.
Her programs are designed to guide women through deep self-unpacking, restoration, and empowerment, utilizing a unique blend of transparency, empowerment, and spiritual impartation. This approach has allowed Dr. Whitehead to impact individuals, groups, families, and communities across the nation and around the world.
Dr. Von is on kingdom assignment, seeking God for every move she makes. She is a change agent for this dispensation of time, bridging faith and action to bring healing to both the kingdom and the world. This calling is manifested through her annual signature experiences, including the ROAR Girl ROAR Experience and The THRIVE Chamber Encounter, as well as her weekly Lunchtime Empowerment Talks with Dr. Von.
